You need to calm your nerves. I know there’s a lot of pressure from all sides to achieve so much within the shortest period possible, but we can’t overwork ourselves. The most important thing is that we are putting in effort every day without stopping, and I believe that one day, God will reward our hard work in a significant way. It’s not easy to come from a disadvantaged environment.

Nigerian leaders do not rate their army
Under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), more commissioned officers have been slaughtered. We lost: 1. Brigadier General Musa Uba. 2. Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd). 3. Brig. Gen. Oseni Omoh (O.O.) Braimah. 4. Lt. Col. S.I. Iliyasu (March 2026). 5. Lt. Col. Umar Farouq (March 9, 2026). 6. Col. Aliyu Saidu Paiko. (October 2025). 7. Lt. Col. Umar Ibrahim Mairiga, (Mar 1, 2026). Nigeria lost more “commissioned” army officers under Tinubu than under Buhari & Jonathan combined. The calamity that befell the Nigerian Army in 3 years is unimaginable. We lost multiple camp commanders (including a Major in Damasak & others in Monguno). They fell to attacks, others fell to IEDs. These are twenty, twenty-five, thirty & thirty-five years of active service wasted. They died so that politicians can soirée & party hard. THE HEROES OF NIGERIA ARE NO MORE! 💔🇳🇬

A downed American airman, equivalent to a colonel in the Nigerian military, found himself in hostile fire and enemy territory during the stalled American-Iran war. For two days, he was trapped at the enemy territory, and President Trump moved heaven and earth to ensure his rescue. The US military built a temporary airstrip in the desert for a smooth rescue operation. Trump received briefings every minute and didn't breathe a sigh of relief until the airman was rescued. We saw urgency and responsive leadership from US leadership for one person. In contrast, a retired Major General who served Nigeria was kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen in Katsina. Ahmed Bola Tinubu didn't show concern. For him, it was business as usual. There was no urgency to rescue the General or address insecurity. Tinubu slept soundly while Nigerians were held captive by criminals and terrorists. The General died in terrorists' hands because he was abandoned by the country he served. Two countries, different priorities. The message to Nigerian military personnel is that their lives don't matter and their service is worthless. Tinubu, incompetent in running a country, is planning to run another election, and some educated people think it's okay because they share ancestry and political affiliation. We can't continue living like this, and this government must go. That's the honest truth. Cc- Chukwudi Iwuchukwu

A FIFA World Cup host country must guarantee two fundamental principles: the safety of the country — and the unrestricted entry of all qualified teams, officials and referees. The case of referee Omar Artan from Somalia is against one of these obligations. FIFA must never compromise the universality of football. #Fifa #Somalia #GianniInfantino #CAF #OmarAtan #DonaldTrump

JUST IN: Fulani kidnappers abducted two residents in Umuahia North and demanded millions in ransom. Instead of waiting helplessly, hundreds of local youths stormed the forests, surrounded the kidnappers, rescued the victims alive, and captured all six suspects. The victims are back home. The kidnappers are in police custody. A powerful reminder that courage and community can achieve what fear cannot. God bless Ndi Abia. But next time, send those monsters to heaven instead taking them to the police.

This is what you get when a country that calls football soccer hosts the competition
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: During Mexico vs South Africa, the referee had to keep the players waiting during the cooling break because FOX was still on a commercial break. The match eventually resumed while FOX was still showing advertisements. These cooling breaks are not related to player health, but are instead used to accommodate commercials. — @Romain_Molina

Louder for the people at the back
A reminder that Flo Balogun would not be on the US Men's National Team if Trump's birthright citizenship order was in place when he was born in NY. The first US man to score more than one goal in a World Cup match since the very first World Cup in 1930.

This should be the standard for everyone. Thank you Telemundo
📺 Telemundo TV commentator: "We are one of the only networks in the world to NOT show ads during the World Cup cooling breaks." "We prefer the old school way. We should be able to see what the players do. We show fans, people enjoying, not the corporate direction of football."

Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.
