Le grand Mischa et le petit Mischa Aujourd’hui, nous célébrons l’anniversaire du père de la famille Aznavourian, Mamigon (Mischa) Aznavourian. Né à Akhaltsikhé, le destin le mena jusqu’à Istanbul, où il rencontra Knar Baghdassarian. Ensemble, ils survécurent au Génocide arménien et trouvèrent d’abord refuge en Grèce, avant de s’installer à Paris. C’est là que commença la grande histoire de la famille Aznavour, aujourd’hui connue dans le monde entier. — Մեծ Միշան և փոքր Միշան Այսօր տոնում ենք Ազնավուրյան ընտանիքի հոր՝ Մամիկոն Ազնավուրյանի ծննդյան օրը։ Նա ծնվեց Ախալցխայում, ճակատագրի բերումով հայտնվեց Ստամբուլում, որտեղ էլ հանդիպեց Քնար Բաղդասարյանին։ Միասին նրանք փրկվեցին Ցեղասպանությունից, ապաստենեցին նախ Հունաստանում, իսկ հետո՝ Փարիզում։ Այդտեղ արդեն սկսվեց Ազնավուր ընտանիքի մեծ պատմությունը, որի մասին գիտի ողջ աշխարհը։ — Big Misha and Little Mischa Today, we celebrate the birthday of the father of the Aznavourian family, Mamigon (Mischa) Aznavourian. He was born in Akhaltsikhe and, through the twists of fate, eventually found himself in Istanbul, where he met Knar Baghdassarian. Nous avons appris avec une profonde tristesse la disparition de Bruno Haye. Il était un partenaire et un professionnel engagé et d’un grand talent, qui exerçait ses activités au sein de Universal Music Group. Pendant de nombreuses années, Bruno s’est consacré avec passion et un sens profond des responsabilités à la préservation et à la valorisation de l’héritage de certaines des plus grandes voix de la musique française. Son travail sur le catalogue de Charles Aznavour, entamé en 2013, a culminé avec la parution du coffret exceptionnel du centenaire, composé de 100 disques, un projet qui n’aurait pu voir le jour sans sa persévérance et son dévouement. Bruno faisait partie de ces rares personnes dont l’engagement discret, mais inébranlable, laisse une empreinte profonde et durable. Nos pensées accompagnent sa famille, ses collègues et tous ses proches.

Nous avons été profondément honorés de recevoir l’invitation du Président Emmanuel Macron à rejoindre sa délégation officielle lors de sa visite en Arménie et regrettons sincèrement de ne pas avoir pu être présents à cette occasion. Nous tenons à exprimer notre vive reconnaissance au Président pour sa présence renouvelée en Arménie et pour la réaffirmation des liens historiques forts qui unissent nos deux pays. Sa visite, ainsi que sa participation au Sommet de la Communauté politique européenne, portent un message puissant d’amitié et de soutien. Lors de sa précédente visite, aux côtés des autorités arméniennes, nous avons franchi une étape importante dans le renforcement des liens culturels - notamment à travers des initiatives en faveur de la langue française et d’une coopération culturelle élargie - en annonçant la création de l’Institut français en Arménie, qui sera accueilli au sein du futur Centre Aznavour. Nous nous réjouissons à l’idée d’accueillir très prochainement le Président Macron à nouveau en Arménie, cette fois à l’occasion de l’inauguration du Centre Aznavour, un projet qui incarne la profondeur des liens entre la France et l’Arménie et rend hommage à l’héritage de Charles Aznavour. Toute la famille de ma mère a été tuée durant le génocide arménien. Son père, sa mère, sa sœur et ses deux frères. Sa grand-mère est venue en France avec elle, parce qu’elle vivait alors avec elle à Istanbul, où elle allait au collège. Mon père était aussi en Turquie à ce moment-là, et c’est ainsi qu’ils se sont rencontrés. Mon père avait un passeport russe, qui leur a permis de s’enfuir. Ils ont traversé de grandes difficultés, ils ont été persécutés, ils n’ont pas pu monter à bord du bateau à cause des tirs. Ils ont fui vers Thessalonique avec d’autres migrants, puis ils sont arrivés en France. — Հայոց ցեղասպանության ժամանակ մորս ընտանիքից ոչ ոք չի փրկվել՝ ո՛չ հայրը, ո՛չ մայրը, ո՛չ էլ քույր ու եղբայրները: Տատը նրա հետ եկել է Ֆրանսիա, որովհետեւ այդ ժամանակ նրանք միասին էին Ստամբուլում, որտեղ մայրս քոլեջ էր հաճախում: Այդ օրերին հայրս նույնպես Թուրքիայում էր, եւ նրանք հանդիպում են իրար: Հայրս ռուսական անձնագիր ուներ, եւ դրա շնորհիվ հաջողվում է փախչել: Նրանք հաղթահարում են բազում դժվարություններ, ենթարկվում են հալածանքների, կրակոցների պատճառով չեն կարողանում նավ բարձրանալ: Մյուս գաղթականների հետ մի կերպ հասնում են Սալոնիկ, այնտեղից էլ՝ Ֆրանսիա: — No one from my mother’s family survived the #ArmenianGenocide: neither her father, nor her mother, nor her siblings. Her grandmother came to France with her, as they were together in Istanbul at the time, where my mother was attending college. My father was also in Turkey then, and that is where they met. He had a Russian passport, and thanks to that, he managed to escape. They endured many difficulties, were persecuted, and were unable to board a ship due to gunfire. Somehow, they reached Thessaloniki with other refugees, and from there made their way to France.

Dès son plus jeune âge, Charles Aznavour commence à fréquenter, avec sa sœur Aïda, l’École du Spectacle située rue du Cardinal Lemoine. En 1933, à l’âge de neuf ans, il débute sur scène, notamment comme danseur au Théâtre du Petit Monde, et fait ses premières apparitions dans différentes pièces. C’est l’affiche d’un spectacle théâtral auquel il a participé, mis en scène dans les années 1930. Aujourd’hui, à l’occasion de la Journée mondiale du théâtre, nous adressons nos félicitations à tous les professionnels du théâtre ainsi qu’aux passionnés de cet art. — Դեռևս շատ վաղ տարիքում Շառլ Ազնավուրը քրոջ՝ Աիդայի հետ սկսում է հաճախել Փարիզի Կարդինալ Լըմուեն փողոցում գտնվող Թատերական դպրոց։ 1933 թվականին՝ ինը տարեկանում, Շառլն իր առաջին բեմելն է ունենում, ապա շարունակում խաղալ տարբեր ներկայացումներում՝ հաճախ հանդես գալով պարային համարներով։ Այս պաստառը նրա մասնակցությամբ թատերական ներկայացումից է, որը բեմադրվել է 30-ականներին: Այսօր` Թատրոնի միջազգային օրը, շնորհավորում ենք թատերական գործիչներին ու այդ արվեստի սիրահարներին: — At a very young age, Charles Aznavour, along with his sister Aïda, began attending the Theater School on the Cardinal Lemoine Street in Paris. In 1933, at the age of nine, Charles made his first stage appearance, and then continued to act in various plays, often performing dance numbers. This poster is from a theater play with his participation, which was staged in the 1930s. Today, on the International #TheaterDay, we congratulate theater artists and true lovers of this art.

Aujourd’hui, nous célébrons l’anniversaire de la légendaire Liza Minnelli. Charles Aznavour a profondément marqué sa vie et sa carrière. Leur relation allait bien au-delà de l’admiration professionnelle : c’était une véritable amitié, fondée sur un profond respect artistique et une grande affection personnelle. Liza Minnelli elle-même a un jour dit : « Charles Aznavour a changé ma vie. Il a changé toute ma vie. » Et lorsque Charles Aznavour nous a quittés en 2018, elle lui a rendu un hommage bouleversant : « Charles était mon mentor, mon ami, mon amour… Il me manquera pour toujours. » Aujourd’hui, nous célébrons non seulement la carrière exceptionnelle de Liza Minnelli, mais aussi le magnifique lien artistique qu’elle partageait avec Charles Aznavour - deux artistes unis par la même passion de raconter des histoires à travers la musique. — Today we congratulate the birthday of the legendary Liza Minelli.
