Itโ€™s never lost on my how the institutional and structural system plays itself out in every aspect of life. How the social, economic, physical and political environments always replicate from a macro to micro- level. Alas, here we are.

Itโ€™s 13:32 and I just saw a bird feasting on a worm. Itโ€™s not the fattest, but a worm nonetheless ๐Ÿชฑ

Another thing I love about Pretoria is how winter is only inside the house. If you don't feel like experiencing winter, you go outside.

This may not be scientifically sound, but you just described someone I know and rationalised their behaviour to the tee! Actually two people come to mind here. It may or may not be the case here as you say, but your thesis carries.

I have a theory that her obsession with looking as tiny as possible is also tied to wanting to be infantilized and may be a somatic trauma response lol. The fake baby voice, the oversized sweaters, the high school ponytail, acting like a shy little kid all the time, along with her constant need to ruin relationships, it feels like she might have had massive daddy issues growing up. Maybe her dad walked out, or maybe there was a divorce, or something else happened, and her brain is basically stuck in this weird regressed child state because it feels safest there. Restricting her food probably also gives her a sense of control that she felt she lacked growing up because a lot of the time, EDs are about control. It feels like sheโ€™s subconsciously recreating the trauma and separation loop because she witnessed it growing up and it feels comforting and familiar to her, itโ€™s basically her brain somatizing the trauma. She targets taken men so she can orchestrate the separation herself and regain the control she didnโ€™t have when her dad left. But I could be wrong. Iโ€™m not even sure her dad left, but a lot of the stuff with Ariana just makes sense to me if that were the case lol.
Iโ€™m tired of her childish ass, sheโ€™s literally pushing 40 ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I've just submitted my chapter on Miriam Makeba's daughter Bongi Makeba Lee's restlessness in exile as a signifier of her ancestral calling which she couldn't heed.

This father couldn't afford treatment for his son. So every morning, he takes him to the beach and buries him halfway in the ground, upright. This is to help him build lower body strength so that he can learn to stand and walk.

My go to reaction is to internally ask โ€œare you ok?โ€ and back off. I never say it out loud because people are jumpy and you can never predict what a verbal attacker would do physically. Some people really have nothing to lose. Let it go, donโ€™t prove yourself to anyone.
Shouting and screaming is NOT normal! Iโ€™m always shocked by this reaction, like what?!
