Much math later, Zev and I have analyzed aspects of keeping opening hands in Limited. How do screw, flood, being on the draw, and having different numbers of lands affect your win rate? How do different players mulligan?

Hey you who went x-5 or better at a recent Magic tournament: it’s imperative that you write a guide for your deck! Please make sure it’s of low quality, tells you how to sideboard incorrectly, and sells for at least $10 more than it’s worth!
The good news about receiving a poor pool in the LTQ is that I had plenty of time to finish up the data work today. Here's the matchup matrix for Day 1 of RC DC!

Magic: The Gathering writing has a short half-life. Historically-important articles are taken offline every year. This sucks.
That's why I'm launching Library of Leng, an index of 32 years of Magic writing. 150k articles, 20 sites, fully searchable.

Day 1 and Day 2 results from #PTSOS. Mostly the same results from the first day! Excruciator leveled off to end with a 51% WR and Mardu Discard stayed strong to end with a 60% WR.

Landfall crushing in day 1 of PT SOS. Decks doing well in the "other" category are Dimir Excruciator with 56% WR and Mardu Discard with 73% WR.

Don't play these ever, but fired off a random bullet and picked up an arena direct 7-win run! The conspiracy theory that they give you a busted pool your first go seems more likely today than yesterday....
