Olive skinned white people exist. Jesus... were doing this again. I remember a time you dumbasses used to think the DCAU Lex Luther was a black guy just because he's bald and lighting whe he's literally design based on a real white guy. He is literally stand-in next to hus fiancé who is white and has the same skin tone as him.

They only call it unrealistic because the girl actually likes the guy for him and adds valve to his life instead power control games and constant unending chaos because you think peace and being steady is stagnant along with confusing anxiety with excitement. Was that real enough for them?
Thoughts?

like 90% of the manga is Guts doing shit that normal humans can't do and then other characters just basically pointing out "Yeah that's not normal"
I really don't get berserk fans who are deadset that guts wasn't potrayed as a special character within berserk setting even a lil bit. Like this is how he was born btw

Prior to the last 20 years or so, diversity in a fantasy game was the result of the nerdy dudes in the development team cooking absolute heat with their worldbuilding, going into autistic detail. They were made on the understanding that this worldbuilding should ultimately serve the purpose of making the world more rich and interesting. Modern diversity is a political statement of ideological liberalism. "Why wouldn't there by Chinese people in this fantasy world inspired by the quaint shires of Medieval England, after all, there's Chinese people in England right now!" It's boring. It asserts aggressively that all the NPCs have no differences despite their obvious differences. The black woman will act and think and speak no different to the indian man, they will all just be veneers stapled onto the frame of the same universal human type. It's grey goo. Diversity is cool as fuck when it's done well, it tells you so much about the world and the people and the culture. To have the Redguard show up in Whiterun and see their vastly different dress and attitude towards the people was interesting and cool.
How is The Elder Scrolls the only fantasy game to do diversity and not piss people off?

Gojo is a talented tailor, has a hobby that perfectly jives with Marin's, is conventionally attractive, and is 6'1 (as a Japanese teenager). Only reason he's not already popular with girls is because the (female) author needs him to be an outcast for the sake of the story.
Yup. Boom. I finished both Nagatoro and My Dress-Up Darling. In no way would boys like Hachiouji and Gojo land girlfriends like Nagatoro and Marin. In no way would girls like Nagatoro and Marin be nice to boys like Hachiouji and Gojo. It's fiction. That's the point of it.

Brutal death animations are as necessary in Tomb Raider games as Lara's fat tits. If you can't handle some pixel gore then you should play something else Unfortunately, we live in the most raped generation in gaming history, so even devs fail to understand their own franchise
some t-rex death animations and i kinda like the cut to black

hey just a reminder, i’m extremely uncomfortable with NSFW art of me. “but why did you make your vtuber look like that?” just cause i like sexy or hot things doesn’t mean i wanna see porn if it. “it’s just a vtuber” who do you think of when you see it?

Yeah this sounds about to a T as to how I predicted it would go when it was announced. The only thing that would make that call out perfect is if the nun bleeding him out was someone who was wronged by him in the past and she is portrayed as justified for killing him. Now, I’m aware that the original Robin Hood has quite the murky and shady history, so this may be accurate to that, I just find the timing of it to be tiresome because it feels just like the same old song and dance of “your heroes were never heroes in the first place”.
Brace yourselves: garbage studio A24 found another male hero to desecrate. "The Death of Robin Hood" is a RADICAL DECONSTRUCTION whose marketing proudly informs us, “He was no hero.” Hugh Jackman plays an aged and solitary Robin, long abandoned by his Merry Men. He's in a SEVERE DEPRESSION having decided he wasn’t some noble outlaw robbing the rich to give to the poor - but actually a RUTHLESS MURDEROUS CRIMINAL. He wants to hang up his violent ways, but his old pal Little John drags him back for one last battle. He gets gravely injured and is tended to by a saintly nun who's treatment involves frequent painful AND GLORIFIED bloodletting sessions. He becomes a mentor to a troubled little girl, a vengeful one-eyed kid, and a soulful philosophical leper. So let's recap: The male hero is depressed and mortally wonded. Little John is a brutal, unrecognizable thug but at least in one piece. The young boy has lost an eye. The leper is losing skin and body parts. In other words, not one single male character escapes the script’s assault. And just in case you missed the point, the MALE HERO dies at the end. Typical A24 bullsht. The "A" stands for "ANTI-MALE" and "24" is short for 24/7/365. I’ll pass.

You'd have to be a wizard with the power of sight beyond sight to know that these are supposed to be comic book characters.
So funny how there's not a single mf in this image who's costume I like

When people say "clunkiness" and "not intuitive" now they mean it not controlling like every other game Just like when they say "evolving" or "doing something new" they mean doing what every other game is doing right now
How I see every person who claims Halo ‘needs’ sprint and that it should be ‘modernized’

"Actually give all of your characters the development they need" you are not serious people
It's simple, really. Just don't be racist. Don't be pedophilic. Don't be a mysoginist. Don't run away from controversy when being called out. Don't be dismissive towards your fanbase, especially your PoC fans. Actually give all of your characters the development they need

Batman shouldn't be the best at everything, but when haters or even writers try to undermine his skills it's equally as stupid as batwank, if not more.
What's your unpopular opinion on Batman?

“having a simple/cartoony artstyle makes you a bad artist” Genuinely you have worms in your brain if you think this
If you draw like this over the age of 14 you have never progressed as an artist

If Das Boot is a good anti-war film for showing how war is weeks of waiting with hours if not minutes of terror, & Come and See is a good anti-war film for showing the depths of human depravity in war, Jarhead is a good anti-war film for showing how 98% of guys experience neither

Making something serious does not mean "cynical" or "adult." It means just playing everything straight. No jokes at the expense of the setting. The names are the names. The magic is the magic. Treating the world as if it was 100% real. On it's own terms. Being sincere.
A "serious" he-man? It'd be like wearing a tuxedo to McDonald's. A lot of us grew up loving these characters exactly because they were over the top, heroic, and fun. We don’t need to see them get turned into overly serious grim revenge stories or watch the heroes we loved get killed off. That’s not what most of us came for. Making something cynical and hateful, does not equal making it "serious and mature."

Thinking that not giving your comfort character enough screentime and being a pedophile are equally damning sins a creator can commit is an interesting bit of insight into the fandomite mind.

Robin's being treated like child soldiers instead of boy adventurers is one of the modern craps I hate the most... It's not that deep pricks.
This scene from Young Justice is a good Batman moment but a terrible Wonder Woman moment she would not say that shit to her good friend Batman

The entertainment industry has a severe case of people just failing upwards for some reason despite constant duds. Meanwhile indies will get thrown into the blast furnace if they make these same missteps.
It's actually insane how someone can spend years writing absolute dogshit and still nepobaby your way into a writing job at Sony on one of the biggest PlayStation franchises ever
