It feels like traders will deadass judge you for everything and anything so you can have the lowest possible starting rep with them, you’ll have something in your mouth or be holding a gun and they’ll immediately hate you as if you both aren’t currently in the depths of hell

The notes you find in the lifepods might be my favorite thing in the game, seeing what the other survivors before you went through or just their general thoughts gives the game so much more depth that makes you feel for the Sawian’s and other experiments so much more.
