Fantastic trip to York to see #thepsychic at @YorkTheatre. Superb entertainment with a brilliant cast, script and staging. A real treat to meet authors @dysonjeremy and @andynyman just before curtain up, having admired their work for years.

Terrific stock, run by a lovely guy called Philip. Picked up a couple of titles I’ve been meaning to read for a while. Recommended.

Such an original and genuine talent. It was a joy to talk to her when she designed costumes for National Theatre of Scotland’s Cyrano and sad we won’t see the work she planned with Glasgow Print Studio. Condolences to her family.

For the 20th anniversary of @NTSonline, playwright Frances Poet and I conceived Stand & Deliver: The Lee Jeans Sit In, telling the story of the women of Inverclyde who occupied their factory for seven months in a bid to fight for their jobs.
It's touring across the country next year, directed by Jemima Levick, marking the 45th anniversary of one of the most stirring chapters in Scottish industrial history.
