*Tfl say more than recent strikes but times were different so tricky to interpret.
Overall seems London coped.
Interesting mobile data from @virginmedia show some Londoners staying away due to #tubestrike :

•King's Cross is down by 8%
•The West End is down by 6%
•Westminster is down by 11%
Elizabeth line at Hanwell not too busy. Many commuters have switched to the Elizabeth line - its drivers aren’t on strike. They are employed by GTS Rail under a concession.
Day 2 of nationalisation and Greater Thameslink have big problems going north. Overhead wires down. Doesn’t matter who’s in charge, trains aren’t going anywhere. Plan B activated.
Last ditch tube talks start soon to try and resolve dispute. Otherwise RMT driver strike starts at midnight tonight - about 50% of tube will run. The sticking point is : is the proposed 4 day 34 hour week really voluntary? ASLEF union support the plan.
