Michelle Obama or Oprah Winfrey?
"I am totally serious" @piersmorgan asked by @afneil who could beat Donald Trump #bbctw
He says they have:
☑️Star power
☑️TV quality you need to be a candidate these days
☑️Universal appeal
☑️Balls of steel
In Series 8, Michael took a journey on The Flying Scotsman.
Which other famous trains would you like to see featured in the series?

According to some of the usual crap directed at Rob, I am a Tory Brexiter Rightwinger and Iain is a Remainer who will repent went the cleansing fire arrives. Plus variations. (I don't repent btw).
Great final show with an amazing guest list to see the programme off after all these years. So sad not to be able to tune in following Question Time - the wonderful balance of humour and political insight was a compelling watch which will be sadly missed.
A big thank you Ambassador @afneil 👏 You reminded us that we can be serious, yet still, laugh at ourselves without the thought police knocking on our Twitter thread.
A brilliant piece by @liamhalligan on the Irish backstop. "Varadkar's Gamble: He's holding firm on the backstop - but at what cost to Ireland?"

I’d like to thank the audience that filled Westminster Central Hall for the finale of @bbcthisweek last Thursday. Your warmth, affection and enthusiasm was overwhelming and you made it the most fulfilling and satisfying night of my career.
You might have been laughing or crying, cheering or jeering, you may even have had an empty bottle of wine on the sofa next to you, but did you catch the very final minute of #bbctw that came AFTER the credits?

Interesting reading thru tweets tonight: praise & opprobrium in equal measure from people of Right & Left, and Remainers & Leavers. Shows how well-crafted @afneil's @bbcthisweek was. There'll be something missing from #Thursday nights from now on. #bbctw
Friday 9.55pm
The very last time #bbctw will be on TV as @BBCParliament repeats the final edition where @afneil hosted an audience of nearly 700 people
