A woman spent nearly 10 years building a logistics company with her husband. She handled operations. He handled business development. Together, they built something successful. Then one day, an old client called to confirm a payment the company never received. She checked the records. The money had gone elsewhere. After digging deeper, she discovered several major clients had been redirected to another company with a similar name. The owner? Her husband. And his secret second wife. For almost two years, he had been quietly moving clients, contracts, and revenue into the new company while she continued helping him grow the original one. By the time she found out, most of the business's best clients were gone. Omo, what keeps disturbing me is that this wasn't a mistake. It was a plan. How do you recover from a betrayal like that?

Came to church this Sunday with a different mindset. No agenda. No kaftan strategy. Just me, God, and peace of mind. Then she appeared. The same lady. Walked up to me personally. โ€œDid you get the wedding invite? I noticed you left early last week.โ€ I just looked at her. This lady. That I suffered my kaftan for. That crushed my heart with a pastorโ€™s microphone. Is now personally inviting me to watch her marry someone else. I smiled. Collected the invite. Said congratulations. It is well. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™

In university, I helped a man in the market sell electronics for commission. A client called about a Samsung TV I posted. I sent him pictures but he wasn't satisfied. Next day at 8am, he called that he wanted to see it live. I had lectures. Tried to reschedule but he insisted. I had already calculated my commission. So I cancelled my morning classes. We met at the shop. He spent two hours testing everything. Tested all the ports. Connected his own flash drive. Played YouTube videos to check the sound. Even brought a magnifying glass to check for scratches on the screen. After everything, he said: "Bros, I like it." I told him the price: โ‚ฆ250,000. He said: "My budget is โ‚ฆ100,000." I showed him cheaper options. He insisted on that one. So I told him to discuss with the shop owner. Fast forward: He didn't buy the TV. My transport fare. Time wasted. Stress. Money expectation. Nothing. I went back to my department. My morale had already dropped. I almost blocked him. But I decided to leave it.

NEPA took light yesterday evening, so I decided to sit outside to take fresh air. I didn't know I was sitting down for a free Cinema ticket. ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ˜ญ A whole drama unfolded right in front of me and a few other neighbors, and honestly, Iโ€™m still thinking about it. A short thread on why some men need to learn how to communicate without an audience: ๐Ÿ‘‡ Let's discuss.

"The doctor looked at me and said, 'I don't know how you've managed to keep going.'" I smiled through the tears because I didn't know either. At twenty-three, I became a mother to twins. Their father disappeared before they were born, leaving me with nothing but unpaid bills, sleepless nights, and two tiny lives depending on me. There were days I skipped meals so my children could eat. Nights I cried quietly in the bathroom so they wouldn't hear me. I worked long hours cleaning offices, then came home to help with homework, wash clothes, and prepare for another exhausting day.

A man accidentally backed his truck into my car at a crowded gas station yesterday afternoon. Before I could even get out, he jumped out of his cabin and started screaming that I hit him from behind. He didn't realize that my car is equipped with a high-definition, 360-degree dashcam that recorded the entire incident.

The person who taught me the hardest lesson about friendship wasn't an enemy. It was someone I genuinely wanted to see win. A friend once told me about a job opening at his company. I was excited for him. I helped him rewrite his CV. Spent days helping him prepare for the interview. We practiced questions until he knew exactly what to say. When he got the job, I celebrated like it was my own victory. Then two months later, I learned something that completely changed how I see some friendships. There hadn't been one opening. There had been two. My friend knew. From the very beginning. But he never mentioned the second position to me. At first, I thought maybe he forgot. Maybe it wasn't his information to share. Maybe there was a good reason. There wasn't. When I eventually asked him about it, he told me the truth. He was afraid I might get the job instead of him. That answer hit harder than I expected. Not because I missed the opportunity, but because someone I was helping succeed had secretly been trying to limit mine. That's when I learned something uncomfortable: Some people don't mind seeing you win. They just don't want you winning at their level, or above it. The loudest support isn't always genuine support. Sometimes it's competition hiding behind a smile. Question for the timeline: Have you ever discovered that a friend was secretly competing with you? If yes, what happened?

I still think about Valentineโ€™s Day 2022 because it was genuinely the most painfully cinematic moment of my life. Iโ€™d been dating this guy for about 4 months. Heโ€™d broken up with his high school sweetheart the summer before, but everything seemed great between us. Until he handed me my gift.
