We came to Utah preparing for the hardest moment of our lives. We didn’t expect an entire community to carry us through it. 💛 Kaida update: Utah… we don’t even know how to say thank you. In the middle of everything, you showed up for us. The Ronald McDonald house blessed us with tickets to Game 3 so we could see our @GoldenKnights for the first time in person! The @deltacenter was rocking and the atmosphere was insane! @fox13 shared our story and helped connect us with so many of you. Tony and Melanie Castillo stepped in and made sure we were able to get to Game 4. And to the Mammoth fans—you have rallied around our family in a way we will never forget. Kaida is still in the NICU (28 days old and absolutely incredible). We are taking things one day at a time and learning in real time what this journey looks like. Some moments are heavy, and some are full of hope. But she keeps fighting, and she is strong. On May 4th, Kaida will have surgery to place a G-tube. It is a big step in her care. Crazy question: Bruce Cassidy said in an interview that he has learned a lot through this experience and that looking back he really wears on the guys. He is under contract for another year. Torts said he is done at the end of June (though I am not counting him out). Is the relationship too far gone, or could Cassidy come back and take the reins after lessons learned? I think it is just an entertaining question. Curious what @BizNasty2point0 or reporters like @SinBinVegas think of it. I do not think this is actually a possibility, but interesting none the less. If you have not heard, Mark Fitswhatever in Eagle Idaho is hosting a "Trad Fam Fest" at the end of the month. Last year was funny when hardly anyone attended is "Hetersexual Awesomeness Fest" and two of his "supporters" threw blows with each other. The Idaho Statesman said this in the article: "The saloon’s website advertises drink deals pegged to patrons’ sexual orientation." That's funny. Happy Pride everyone!

I forgot about Babcock benching Mike Modano and preventing game 1500. The Oilers are a "rival" of my favorite team, but Babs might not be the guy. I do not know if permission will be given to Cassidy after the cup, but I think it will. Is Babcock the guy you just have to have? I have no issue with Vegas not giving permission right now. They are 4 games into a Cup run. Cassidy is making more money than I probably will in the rest of my working career. I think using the rules and contracts is part of the game. I do not want to see Edmonton hire Babs. I think it will blow that organization up.
