Today on #RudolfVirchow 200th birthday, we get to see our 3 rotating M4s give their final presentations. Pretty sure Virchow would be proud of such great talent preparing to enter the field! Best of luck to each of them in #PathMatch22 #Match2022

It still surprises me sometimes that we do not find invasion in these highly active in situ cases (AIN3 pictured). However, as one of my mentors said, "Every cell has the right to divide." 🤔#pathology #dermpath #gynpath

First official pathology post. Starting with my first love, #dermpath One of the best ways to find your cell of origin is to find the transition from normal to abnormal. Especially those elusive adnexal tumors!

Part 4, and last part, of my #dermpath #pathart series on blistering diseases. Although these are not autoimmune, these diseases come into the differential with pemphigus, so I wanted to include them. Hope you enjoyed the series and stay tuned for more #derm topics!

Beautiful asteroid bodies. My first encounter was a case of Sporotrichosis. Where else have you seen these pop up?
Gorgeous Asteroid bodies! I love these little star shaped clusters of degenerated collagen fibers trapped inside histiocytes. A classic buzzword for sarcoidosis, but I see them far more often in foreign body granulomas #Pathology #dermpath #dermatology #dermatologia #pulmpath
