Student Support for Breast Cancer Research!💗🎓
Students at ATU Galway-Mayo Students’ Union have selected the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) as their charity partner for the year.
The partnership got off to an impressive start earlier in the year, with their Student Raceday at the Galway Races raising €8,442 in support of breast cancer research.✨
As part of ATU Rag Week, which took place at the beginning of February, students organised a wide range of fundraising events. These included a Head Shave/Shave-Off, a Rag Week Fun Run, a Rag Week Basketball Tournament, and a Rag Week 5-a-side football competition.
The students are also supporting NBCRI’s Mayo Pink Ribbon Cycle, which will take place in Castlebar over the May Bank Holiday weekend.🚲💕
With many more fundraising activities planned throughout the year, the students are committed to continuing their support for breast cancer research right through to the end of the year.
