Up to 12 years in prison for "bushification": a new bill registered in the Rada
In Ukraine, it is proposed to punish by deprivation of liberty for a term of 5 to 7 years for detaining people without legal grounds, exceeding detention periods, as well as for forcibly confiscating phones and restricting communication.If such actions are committed with the use of violence or against minors, the punishment may be up to 12 years of deprivation of liberty.
The bill has not yet been adopted and will be considered by the parliament.
