The Green Party and its leader are utterly deranged. The Palestine Action activists who were jailed were a danger to society. One even struck a policewoman in the back with a sledgehammer. Anyone defending or glorifying such individuals is sick.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

This cartoon tars an entire community with the same brush. Thousands of people hold genuine concerns about immigration policy, housing and public services. Mocking them as ignorant rather than engaging with their arguments is beneath any serious newspaper.

I stand with those who have peacefully protested and who have raised legitimate concerns. But let me be clear: violence, intimidation, arson and attacks on people or property are wrong and must be condemned We can support peaceful protest and reject criminality at the same time

Sinn Féin's flip-flop on Sunday trading is as predictable as it is cynical. For years they opposed extending trading hours, now they support it. Workers must be protected, businesses supported, and consumers given choice. Principles should matter more than political convenience.

The murder of Henry Nowak has shocked and angered people across the United Kingdom, and rightly so Justice is not simply securing a conviction. Justice means confronting failures, demanding accountability, and ensuring that the mistakes surrounding Henry death are never repeated

🏆SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE CHARITY GAME🏆 Congratulations to all at Dunmurry Rec FC on their annual Charity Day in aid of Survivors of Suicide. It was an honour to accept an invitation to come along to meet those playing, including a host of big names coming together for this great cause. I talked to the inspiration women behind Survivors of Suicide organisation about all the incredible work they are doing. It is such an important issue, and the volunteers of the organisation are giving so much of their time in such a valuable way. Thank you to the Chair and all at Dunmurry Rec FC for this initiative and the warm welcome, and Councillor Bradley Ferguson for coordinating and arranging the visit. ⚽️💙

Belfast residents want their council focused on bins, parks, pitches not wasting time debating EU re-entry. At committee I made it clear we should stick to delivering for ratepayers, not grandstanding. The DUP will continue to stand up for common sense and local priorities.

Remembering George Best on what would have been his 80th birthday. From Cregagh and Lisnasharragh to world football greatness, George Best remains one of East Belfast’s most famous sons and one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.

Tonight at Belfast City Council, I called out Sinn Féin for glorifying Bobby Sands and pushing to lower the 15% threshold for Irish street signs. Out of touch. Belfast deserves better focus on real issues, not division.

Happy Easter ✝️ As we celebrate today, we remember the powerful message at the heart of the Christian faith: “He is not here; for He has risen.” This is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is hope and new life. Wishing everyone a peaceful and blessed Easter

A great night at the Strangford DUP Dinner in La Mon House Hotel. It was a pleasure to meet Reform MP Robert Jenrick and hear him speak so passionately about his plans and his commitment to Northern Ireland. Encouraging to see that strong interest in our place within the Union.

I welcome the removal of these murals. Our community has moved forward, and while history should never be ignored, we must continue building a peaceful, respectful and shared future. East Belfast should be defined by opportunity, growth, and community spirit, not the past.
Notorious east Belfast UVF mural will be removed as part of loyalist transitioning project belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/… belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/…

A politically driven vote of no confidence in Gordon Lyons and one that is completely unjustified. Gordon has focused on delivery, fairness, and supporting communities across Northern Ireland. While others play politics, he gets on with the job.
