Returning to school today for Clock House Prize Giving was OB, Dr Amir Khan (1999). Amir shared with students his journey from BGS to doctor, lecturer, writer and broadcaster—and his belief in the spirit of ‘Hoc Age’ to give everything a go. “Effort matters more than anything.”

Wow! The King is being treated to a performance by the Bantam of the Opera choir, a group of Bradford City fans taught to sing opera by BBC Radio Leeds during Bradford’s year as UK City of Culture.

Fresh back from Argentina is OB trail runner, Amelie Lane (2024), who conquered 24km in Ushuaia, Patagonia. Amelie ran a stellar race in the UTMB World Series Under 20s category, coming 3rd overall and the first female back out of 480 runners. Congratulations Amelie!
