A 36-year-old man from Texas flew to Bogotá, Colombia and allegedly sexually abused a 7-year-old boy on a balcony in broad daylight.
Neighbors heard the screams. They filmed. They called police. Because of them, three children ages 4, 7, and 15 are now safe.
Sources indicate he may have adopted all three of those children.
Let that sink in.
This is not an isolated incident. Colombia has already turned away 100 foreigners for sex tourism in just the first half of 2026. American passports are being used to exploit the most vulnerable children in the world.
Colombia’s president is now calling for visas to stop predators from entering the country.

👮♂️LAPD killed this lady's dog on a noise complaint call. The dog's name was Jameson, a golden doodle.
The dog was no threat, but he barked at strangers.
The family and the dog was celebrating the New York Knicks victory. A neighbor called in a noise complaint and the LAPD showed up and shot the dog when it barked at the officers.
Police treat killing dogs like it's routine business and no big deal. That needs to change, it needs to become a big deal. I think every time an officer shoots a dog it should be investigated and scrutinized just like when a person is shot.
It seems police escalate to lethal force FIRST when dealing with a dog they perceive as aggressive. It seems they never use pepper spray first, just straight to deadly force. That needs to change.
This is not okay.

Ulises Fernando Bernal Miramontes, identificado como presidente del Colegio de Ingenieros Topógrafos Geomáticos del Estado de Jalisco, se encuentra en el centro de la polémica luego de que usuarios en redes sociales lo señalaran como el aficionado mexicano que aparece en un video realizando gestos considerados racistas hacia una seguidora de Corea del Sur durante un partido del Mundial 2026.
Las imágenes, que se han viralizado en distintas plataformas, muestran a una aficionada surcoreana grabando un video en las gradas mientras, detrás de ella, un hombre realiza gestos estereotipados relacionados con los rasgos físicos de las personas asiáticas.
Tras la difusión del material, usuarios comenzaron a compartir fotografías y datos que vinculan al presunto responsable con la presidencia del organismo de ingenieros en Jalisco, lo que amplificó la controversia y generó llamados para que se pronuncie sobre lo ocurrido.

The least pleasant call I had in the process of building Flare was with a VC fund where Ran was an advisor.
Ran ranted at me for a good 15-20 minutes that XRP was worth nothing, that building DeFi for XRP was a pointless pursuit and that Flare would never work.
Fortunately my character is such that rather than dissuade me it made me more determined.
