Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

Indiana supposedly the basketball state stays behind the ball by voting down the implementation of the shot clock again…sad day for the state that claims to be the best in the game. I guess it really is a football state now!!
