Fantastic Year 7/8 Athletics competition last night. BLC finishing First overall for Year 7 Girls, Year 8 Boys and Year 8 Girls and Year 7 Boys finishing in second. A clean sweep in the relays and 16 school records broken! π

Running Club went on their first venture off school site this evening to Ashton Court. Great effort from all pupils and Mrs Hodson and Miss Weekes came to keep them company and keep them motivated!
*Late to Post* We had a great time taking 109 of our pupils to @ashtongatestad last week to watch @englandlioness in the final round of the Arnold Cup. The pupils were a credit to our school, and defiantly were the loudest in S19! #teamblc
Lola received her gift yesterday for Winning Secondary Sports Personality 2022 back in the summer. She was over the moon with her gift, and proudly wore it round school for the rest of the day. Well Done Lola π₯ π
Secondary Students had the best SportsFEST on Friday. Pupils were off timetable all day and participated in Performance athletics, Retro athletics, 12 different sports and the showcase in the afternoon.
Secondary βSports Personality of the Year 2022β goes to Lola B. Runners up were Ollie, Lainey and Naomi. 4 fantastic nominees and all worthy winners but as voted by secondary students and staff on Sports Day, Lola came out on top π π
Primary βYoung Sports Personality of the Year 2022β goes to Lacey M as voted by all primary students and staff. Runners up were Lacey G and Taylor C. 3 fantastic nominees who have been fantastic in and around the PE department this year.
