Our second Community BBQ is on Saturday, July 22 from 5 – 8pm at @community_wise (223 12th Ave SW). The BBQ will be PWYC with proceeds going back to the BLGC to host other Community Events.

When we get sober and remove substances from our lives, things become a whole lot clearer such as recognizing the centralization of substances, primarily alcohol, in society. Removing yourself can be an extremely isolating decision, but it's FUCKING WORTH IT.

This was our second arts and crafts type hang, we have done as a group, and we're thinking of doing something similar again!

Unfortunately, we had to postpone our AGM due to not being able to meet quorum.
The new BLGC AGM date is Sept. 16th from 6pm to 8pm. This will be a HYBRID event with a pizza party after the AGM! More details to come …
