New Odin Fun Release!
We just rolled out some much needed updates to Odin Fun. Here they are:
1. Built-in announcements feature.
As we've been building Odin Fun and talking with our community we realized that not everyone that uses Odin Fun is on Twitter, Telegram, or Discord. So lots of our users don't see updates without other communication channels.
Well the announcements feature fixes this. Now we can publish important information and it will reach all of our users instantly.
When a new announcement is posted you will be notified with a little red notification dot on the announcements icon.
This announcements release dovetails with our focus on communities as well, and soon you will be able to create communities and publish your own announcements directly within Odin Fun (part of the Community Fees implementation that is in-audit right now).
2. Support Directly Through Odin Fun.
Only a handful of Odin Fun users use Discord (where we have been handling tickets), and many of our users are new to Discord and get scammed by fake discord account DMs.
So we built support directly into Odin Fun. Now you can submit tickets, view tickets, reply to tickets, and manage your tickets directly in Odin Fun.
This will prevent people from getting scammed in Discord, give Odin Fun developers more insight into tickets being created and managed, and help us manage our tickets more effectively (still some work for us to do here to catch up on our backlog).
So moving forward, please submit all of your tickets directly through Odin Fun for better tracking, managing, resolving, etc.
3. Roadmap Voting.
We've been spending a lot of time listening to our users, which is great! But because we are DMing users across many platforms, we can't always connect users to their activity in Odin Fun, so sometimes it is hard to know what our Odin Fun power users want.
With the "Roadmap" feature, now users get votes based on how active they have been in the Odin Fun platform. The more volume you've done in the platform the more votes you get to allocate.
This will give us greater insight into what our users want in the platform, and will help us determine our near term and long term roadmap.
Over the long term, this setup will allow us to eventually progressively decentralize governance in Odin Fun and move toward a community governance model.
I hope you enjoy the new features!
Note: notice that these features did not require smart contract upgrades, so they were faster to build. We have a lot of updates coming on the smart contract side, but we're still finalizing the audits for those features. Community fees, staking / locking LP / yield farming, etc.
