December 20: Martyrdom Anniversary of Karima Baloch Seminar in London and Memorial Events Worldwide #Banuk_Karima #Baloch_e_Ruzhn To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Karima Baloch, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) will hold a seminar in London on 20 December titled “Karima Baloch: From Student Leader to a Global Symbol of Resistance.” Representatives of the Baloch and other oppressed nations, as well as politicians and scholars, will address the gathering and share their reflections on the life, character, and political legacy of Banuk Karima Baloch. BNM has also instructed all its chapters and zones to organize memorial events marking the martyrdom anniversary of Banuk Karima. Banuk Karima Baloch is regarded as one of the most prominent and influential figures in Baloch political history and the national movement. Her political impact has been recognized internationally; in 2016, the BBC named her among the world’s 100 most influential women. She was the first woman to lead the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) and later became an active member of the Baloch National Movement (BNM). Her martyrdom was a devastating loss for the Baloch nation. The collective response that followed evolved into a more organized political movement. Brussels: A delegation of @BNMovement_, led by Chairman @DrNaseemBaluch, attended an event on Pakistan’s GSP scheme, calling for increased pressure on Pakistan to safeguard human rights in #Balochistan and to suspend Pakistan’s GSP status. The delegation also contributed to a separate meeting on minority rights in Pakistan, highlighting ongoing concerns in the region. They met with four MEPs to plan future awareness events in the European Parliament and agreed to collaborate closely on initiatives aimed at protecting human rights in Balochistan, including future efforts to secure the suspension of Pakistan’s GSP scheme. #EUParliament #RevokePakistanGSPPlusScheme

For decades, the Baloch nation has been subjected to severe human rights violations at the hands of the Pakistani state, carried out with complete impunity. This day serves as a reminder to the world that dignity, justice, and freedom are the fundamental rights of every human being. Furthermore, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) announces that it will issue an Open Letter to the United Nations, international human rights organizations, global powers, various national parliaments, and international civil society. This letter will outline the grave human rights abuses perpetrated against the Baloch nation by Pakistan. It will serve as an appeal to awaken the global conscience and urge the international community to take immediate action and hold Pakistan accountable for these crimes. BNM also calls for the use of the hashtag #EndBalochGenocide on this day to highlight the plight of the Baloch nation before the world.
