Pep watched Arteta’s tactics & copied the bits he wanted. eg: How Cala/MLS used to push up & overload the opp box, now thats O’Reilly. Xhakas entire role is now Bernado’s etc. Pep can do this because unlike Mikel, he ALWAYS buys players that have the RIGHT SKILLSET for the role.
