The State Budget has been handed down and we were in the Budget lock-up working through what this all means for SA grain producers. Initiatives such as the Forward Fund, R&D Productivity fund and red tape reduction inquiry could benefit our sector. Important to see the Drought Loan in the Budget. FREE ISCC WORKSHOPS: GPSA's three-part "Get ISCC Ready" workshop series in Clare and Cummins begins on 16 June. The workshop series is a partnership with @PinionAdvisory and @theGRDC and is designed to provide all the info and training that a producer would require in becoming ISCC ready.
Each of the three half-day workshop (9am to 12pm) focuses on a different aspect of becoming ISCC ready - growers are welcome to attend one, two, or all three session, depending on what’s most relevant.

Last week, GrainGrowers convened industry leaders from the finance, freight and supply chain sectors for two separate roundtables to examine the immediate and longer-term impacts of the Middle East conflict on Australian growers.
The roundtables brought together critical parts of the value chain to better understand the challenges facing growers and identify potential measures to relieve the pressure.
The finance roundtable, attended by major lenders, investors and grower stakeholders, highlighted that growers are operating in a fundamentally different risk environment.
While the supply chain roundtable brought together grain supply chain representatives to discuss opportunities to strengthen the resilience and efficiency of Australia's grain freight network.
