Pleased by the discussion my piece in today’s NYT (is.gd/MUKozy) is stirring up, but wincing at the misleading click-bait headline. I don’t want all students to get A’s! (I want them to be free of grades.) Gist of the essay is that excellence isn’t inherently scarce

At ASU Yesterday STEM Conference for CUSD ELL/ELD students and sponsored by ASU MAES. We are SSPF and truly changing lives. So happy that Willis Jr. High, Chandler High and Hamilton High ELL & ELD students could join us. 23 Willis Jr. students attended our STEM conference.

A way to spend more time reading for enjoyment and modeling how books can be fun.
