Biggest AI models aren't always the best for your usecase. Things are moving fast, and ignoring the smaller ones could hit you in time and costs. At @recruitlyio we have been trying out smaller language models for document processing. The speed and cost savings are pretty impressive. Here is a quick comparison (Top 7) of how long on average each model took to extract data from documents and cost per 1 million input tokens. ✅ Amazon NOVA Micro v1 - 5s ($0.035/M) ✅ Amazon NOVA Lite v1 - 6s ($0.06/M) ✅ Google Gemini 2.0 Flash 001 - 7s ($0.1/M) ✅ Cohere Command R7B - 8s ($0.0375/M) ✅ Mistral Codestral - 9s ($0.3/M) ✅ Cohere Command R - 10s ($0.5/M) ✅ Qwen Turbo - 15s ($0.05/M) When you are dealing with millions of files, even a few seconds per document adds up quickly. We are now putting AWS NOVA Micro to further tests using a variety of documents and high volumes. #AI #Productivity #RecruitingAgents

No university or college fully prepares students for the realities of today's tech industry with AI advancements. Theory is important, but the practical, cutting-edge skills that employers actually need often aren't part of traditional education. At Recruitly.io , we're bridging this gap by training our interns for the future, not just for today. By combining traditional development skills with cutting-edge AI capabilities, we're preparing them for the evolving tech landscape of tomorrow. Our Bright and Happy Interns The most rewarding part of our training programme is seeing how our interns thrive. Our bright young talents consistently express how happy they are with the practical skills they're gaining and the supportive environment at Recruitly.io . They particularly value: Working with cutting-edge technologies that many don't get exposed to until years into their careers The balance of guidance and independence that helps them grow confidently Being treated as valuable team members whose ideas are respected The clear path from internship to potential full-time opportunities Seeing their enthusiasm and rapid growth confirms that our approach is working. We're not just training skilled developers - we're nurturing future innovators who are excited about their tech careers. Our Future-Focused Approach We teach our interns skills that will remain valuable as technology continues to evolve: We teach these technology pairs: React.js AI tools for smarter interfaces Next.js AI for content and personalisation MongoDB AI for data prediction GitHub with AI coding assistants Our training follows these steps: Small projects with basic AI features Larger applications using AI in multiple ways Real team projects solving actual business problems Leadership That Makes It Possible This forward-thinking approach wouldn't be possible without the vision and guidance of our outstanding leadership. Special thanks to Lokesh K Reddy , our Head of Engineering, whose technical expertise and mentorship have been instrumental in developing our training programme. And of course, to Gowri 🖖 , our CEO, whose strategic vision constantly pushes us to prepare our talent for the challenges of tomorrow rather than just today. Under their leadership, Recruitly has created an environment where interns truly flourish and develop skills that will serve them throughout their careers. Join Our Team Are you passionate about technology and eager to learn both development and AI skills? We're looking for motivated interns to join our great team at Recruitly.io. If you're ready to build the future with us, please contact us and forward your CV. #TechInternships #AITraining #RecruitlyInterns #FutureTechTalent #DeveloperTraining #TechCareers #JobsInTech #AIforDevelopers #GraduatesinAIEra

You’re not the only one feeling a bit unsure about where it’s all heading. It’s normal. This shift is massive. Just like electricity or the internet once were. There’s no going back we adapt, or we fall behind. So what now? With AI picking up the admin and grunt work, we need to focus on what machines can’t replicate. Here’s where it counts: Adaptability – Tech moves fast. So should you. Learning, unlearning, adjusting on the go. Thinking clearly – Not just data, but judgement. Being able to ask why, not just what. Emotional intelligence – Reading the room, handling tricky conversations, knowing when to listen. Creative problem-solving – AI follows logic. You bring the unexpected angle. As a recent grad, how are you building these? Micro-habits? Mentorship? Real-world trial and error? Let’s hear your take. We’ll be sharing how our young interns are getting on at Recruitly.io in future posts—stay tuned. #FutureSkills #RecruitlyTips #GraduateGrowth #AIReady #AIShift #GraduateGrowth #HumanSkillsMatter

AI is invading UX design—creating prototypes in a snap and offering data-driven perfection. But can it feel a user's rage-quit? No. Designers who master AI will thrive; the rest risk becoming obsolete. You tell me: is AI a partner or predator?

Hey @X, what if Verified Orgs had an "Employees" section - a premium feature, perhaps? A straightforward way to see who works where, making company pages more useful for teams, hiring, and credibility. Feels like a natural next step, especially now that Verified Orgs allow job postings too. Thoughts? cc: @elonmusk @Xceo

Aesthetics may catch the eye, but intention captures the soul. Name a designer who creates with meaning, not just for engagement.
