What does a career in development banking look like? And how do international financial institutions work in practice? These were some of the questions discussed at BSTDB headquarters in Thessaloniki, where we welcomed students from the Farmingdale State College School of Business, together with BSTDB interns and colleagues from across the Bank. From economics and risk management to sustainability and international careers, the session provided an opportunity to learn more about multilateral development banks and the role of BSTDB in supporting the Black Sea region.

Michael Roux, Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership and the Black Sea of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Bank’s headquarters in Thessaloniki. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen institutional cooperation and support sustainable development initiatives across the region.

Constructive discussions between BSTDB and Thess INTEC on advancing innovation and sustainable development in the region. President Köksal and SG Tsoukalas received a delegation by Thess INTEC, led by its President & CEO, Nikos Efthymiadis. Topics included collaboration opportunities related to climate change, marine protection, fish stock sustainability and the promotion of the blue economy, while also exchanging views on the evolving innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
