Have now also uploaded all available 2nd XI @official_NCL 2002 BTCC matches too, however some scorebook carnage and some locked results with wrong scores showing on Play Cricket. League assistance welcome to unlock results for accurate editing! #2002
A handful of scorebooks located at The Bury @BedfordCC_ which has helped to complete 2nd XI 2001 @official_NCL match detail onto Play Cricket: bedfordtown.play-cricket.com… A challenging season with a concession and often not 11 players. The beginning of the end, maybe? #2001

Born OTD - two of Bedfordshire's finest who also represented @NorthantsCCC at first-class level. Ray Bailey - 82 today - claimed 144 wickets for the County and was later head groundsman at Wantage Road. And the much-missed Neil Stanley played from 1988 to 1993. @BedfordshireCCC

Wishing Ian Peck #329 a very happy 68th birthday - cricket for @NorthantsCCC and @BedfordshireCCC, rugby union for Bedford, Barbarians and a member of the England squad in 1980. Off the field, a hugely effective vice-chairman of the County Club and still a regular at Wantage Rd.

Today @lewis_mcmanus becomes the first man for four years - and the first wicketkeeper since 2002 - to play every competitive match for @NorthantsCCC in a season. @Ricardo27Vasco and @RobKeogh91 both did it in 2001, and @Tobybailey76 the 'keeper who was ever-present 23 years ago
