This morning we supported A&E staff with insitu simulation. Using a custom built thoracotomy trainer (thank you Ben) staff were able to simulate opening the chest up to provide lifesaving treatment. Excellent teamwork @BEaT_BTHFT

Another Insitu, with Paeds A&E here at the Bradford Royal Infirmary, and using our recently-restored 3-Year Old mannequin. The scenario was Sepsis, requiring intervention via I.O Drill into poor Briony’s leg.

Excellent work by our technician Ben, creating a broken bone model to fit under one of our manikins legs. Moulage was also applied to complete the inquires following a "car versus pedestrian" collision. We're always looking at ways to increase the realism of our scenarios.
