IPO bankers are getting busier and it’ll be a critical test. Particularly because post-listing performance has been tricky even before the conflict erupted. Though the class of 2026’s IPOs average return has been a 4.6% gain, outpacing a modestly lower S&P 500 Index, half of the 10 largest deals have wiped out more than one-quarter of their value, data compiled by Bloomberg show.
