When @gabemonroy asked me to work with @fermyontech to help them extract all the value out of GKE AutoPilots fancy new super fast dynamic compute, I was frankly pumped just to work with some good friends. After seeing what @michelledhanani and @kategoldenring and @macolso were able to accomplish I was blown away. I'm really excited to share what we've been working on: @SpinKube and @FermyonTech Platform for #Kubernetes. First up, @SpinKube is an open source project we've built with awesome folks from @Microsoft, @SUSE, @LiquidReply and more, which integrates with a *lot* of the cloud native ecosystem and brings together a complete stack for running #WebAssembly apps in #K8s. I have a small WebAssembly app hosted on Fermyon Cloud. And I hadn't used it for ~1 year. Yet it still responded instantly when I sent an HTTP request yesterday – no cold start or anything like that. Going to build even more stuff with @spinframework!
