If representation depends on ethnicity, each player only represents his own ethnic group.

I am very fond of Italian culture. At a stretch, you could say I love it. But for me to claim that I love the dozens of alien cultures that exist in multicultural “modern Australia” would be a blatant lie. I have only an outsider’s understanding of them. They are not my culture.
