You, me, and many others mentioned these things before, and nobody listened because the honeymoon period was still there. We literally saw Instagram do this, and they lived off "culture," too. And look what happened to "do it for the 'gram" now.
TikTok isn’t being defended by its largest Creators now that it’s asking for support…
And the reasons are that as I’ve said, the platform has been fairly exploitative towards Creator Monetization…
Hasn’t fixed its bad reporting system and ACTUALLY Shadowbans people and wrongly terminated accounts consistently…
On top of that it alienated viewers and Creators with most of its recent changes in the last year.
And unlike in 2020, Creators and viewers all have better options
The algorithm is no longer being praised…
Easy monetization doesn’t exist anymore.
And “culture” is no longer praised but is pointed out as social net negative… including its influence on other content…
You can’t piss off a significant portion of viewers and creators without consequences…
