This is a pretty good deal for Davinci Resolve Studio since its normally $300 and B&H has it in Deal Zone for $175. Works on 2 computers and my video editing app of choice.

THIS. I am so frustrated by American journalists who seem to be ignorant of CCP's meddling & surveillance of fellow reporters & sources -- just because you love some part of the app! Stop both-siding a foreign owned biz with American-owned rivals that are subjected to US laws.

7) TikTok has **admitted** it used its app to spy on reporters and track their sources, according to internal email. They were tracking IP information & this was used to monitor journalists in the US. ➡️we want to avoid another journalist Jamal Khashoggi incident!

You, me, and many others mentioned these things before, and nobody listened because the honeymoon period was still there. We literally saw Instagram do this, and they lived off "culture," too. And look what happened to "do it for the 'gram" now.
TikTok isn’t being defended by its largest Creators now that it’s asking for support…
And the reasons are that as I’ve said, the platform has been fairly exploitative towards Creator Monetization…
Hasn’t fixed its bad reporting system and ACTUALLY Shadowbans people and wrongly terminated accounts consistently…
On top of that it alienated viewers and Creators with most of its recent changes in the last year.
And unlike in 2020, Creators and viewers all have better options
The algorithm is no longer being praised…
Easy monetization doesn’t exist anymore.
And “culture” is no longer praised but is pointed out as social net negative… including its influence on other content…
You can’t piss off a significant portion of viewers and creators without consequences…

One thing that I think would help is if Shorts had its own separate app and experience. Some of the watch data can cross between to help with content selection, but short form only on the Shorts dedicated app and long-form just on Youtube I think would help a lot.

Warning. Shorts can destroy the momentum on your YouTube channel. After testing on my channel and looking at the data the results were not good and was confirmed by a group of creators I trust. My decision is to remove the shorts off my channel and put them on a new channel.

A user will put in a ticket and say it's an emergency, and then they will be unreachable by email and phone for a week
The minute you close the ticket due to non-response. They reopen it 2 minutes later and they are still unavailable

I don’t block people because I’m soft and can’t handle any controversy.
I block people because I truly don’t want to see your face again and I can’t take a bunch of trash talking on Twitter because I don’t mind going out my way to have a face to face interaction with you.
I care about my future enough not to ruin it on internet chumps.
And yes I’ve done it before.

The mistake was made and it seems like a learning lesson. What makes me the most upset is that people who are saying we are exaggerating and need to stop taking things so seriously have no fucking clue and it clearly shows how ignorant they are. You said your piece and that’s cool but people like @lukianbel and the comments he said, that’s the kind of shit I’m talking about. I’m not even thinking about the situation anymore but it’s the ongoing comments of people saying that people are being extra and taking things too seriously.
