Most hitters don’t need more swings.
They need more force. I've literally watched this happen for almost a decade now.
If you can’t produce it, you can’t transfer it.
That’s why nothing sticks. Not swing cues, not specific tee drills alone.
“ Sumo is cheating!”
My only reply going forward will be:
“Is it getting done with what I need it for?”
“Well yeah but..”
“Then I don’t care”
Sumo reigns supreme for baseball
And softball players for what I need to build within them.
Today I was lucky enough to have one of the best conversations I’ve ever had with one of our own. @MaxVaisvila
Max is a culmination of every ounce of effort and intent that goes into our mission at B3.
I’m proud of what he’s accomplished so far athletically especially with @NIU_Baseball and seeing where he is compared to when he started at B3 is insane, but I’m proud of the Man he became along the way.
Strap in…Max ain’t finished.
I don’t know if I’m asking a lot but:
Dear Athletes,
Show respect to whoever you’re talking to by using proper grammar and spelling.
“Alr thx” is not an acceptable substitute for “alright, thanks”
Self Confidence (or lack of) is the number 1 driver of poor performance on a season.
The only solution is to put in the work that will allow you the chance to become a threat on the field.
You just have to do the work. The confidence will follow.
Most people see the Division 1 logo.
They don’t see the 9 years before it.
The accountability.
The discipline.
The consistency.
The days nobody was watching.
Jory started training with me when I was still coaching at Strong U and continued that journey through B3.
Today he’s headed to play Division 1 baseball.
His dad spent very little time talking about baseball in his exit interview.
He talked about character.
That’s the point.
You do not become a high-level athlete when the opportunity arrives.
You become a high-level athlete through thousands of decisions nobody sees.
Savage, Not Average.
I know most everyone (I hope) coaches their athletes to fire as fast as you can on your deadlifts and benches and cleans and jumps and sprints.
Taking notes on my own training currently, I don’t think we talk enough about speed in accessories.
@BurnTheLadders it’s like Brief Maximal Tension is also good for a lot accessories too
Here’s the first look into our Patent Pending B3 Swing Analysis System software.
We’re currently in BETA testing but we are seeing a 95% accuracy compared to human analysis.
We’re successfully mapping the root cause of common swing flaws
Not the ones that most spectators or “instructors” point out, but what is causing that deficiency from the start and mapping them to the anatomical structure responsible.
IE: we will tell you where it happens and how to fix it in the box and in the weight room
Combine that with our System in the weight room and you get the cheat code to higher level hitting.

The amount of college freshmen already in the portal is crazy.
High school seniors heading to campus this fall…
Be ready.
Everything resets to zero.
Nobody cares what you did in high school.
Your commitment post is old news.
Earn your spot.
2 years past when I said I would
How long it takes isn’t the achievement.
The fact that you didn’t stop until you got there is.

Our baseball and softball players know that their coaches know strength.

Alright truth time...
Your coach/your son/daughters coach doesn't "hate them"
they likely aren't getting playing time because they don't have the tools
From struggling pitcher to ace. Max Vaisvila's turnaround mirrors NIU baseball's stunning rise: 35 wins this year, MAC Tournament champs, and headed to the College World Series for the first time in 54 years. shawlocal.com/daily-chronicl…
