Software dev friends: what's something you've learned that's been surprisingly useful in your job? Mine: learned to use Excel better. Doing repetitive operations on small (1000 records) sets of data, improved knowledge of Excel helps tons. Thanks @spolsky !youtu.be/0nbkaYsR94c

@LinusTech plug their water bottles this way so consistently that I actually have to stop myself from saying the last part out loud whenever I take a drink from my new one.
This week I heard a local station play @VeritasFive's "Dare You To Move" and it brought me out of a long-running funk. Kudos to @switchfoot for the challenge to get up and live in His redemption while acknowledging brokenness, and to the Five for the achingly beautiful rendition.
Hey @DanFloydPlus, would you ever consider doing another series of videos on video game music a la Extra Remix? Would love to hear your thoughts on artists like @insanerainmusic ๐
Love supporting local restaurants, especially when their food is both delicious and healthy! The little hands here were sampling everything within reach, too. ๐ @SweetCarrotCbus
Definitely didn't just make this tweet to get one of their delicious cookies for free. No, certainly not. ๐ If you're in Columbus, you should give these guys a try!
"The checkbox allowed me to cross something off my list, to see clearly that Iโd crossed it off, and at the same time retain all its information while not also adding to the cognitive load of interpreting the list," writes Adam Savage. wired.trib.al/1I8QWwS
Listening to Oathbringer and tearing up at The Girl Who Looked Up. Beautiful chapter, and @KateReadingVO perfectly captures Shallan's grief at the brokenness that the end of the play represents. @BrandSanderson
I've seen a trend among Patreon-funded webcomic artists lately toward drawing NSFW content for patrons. This is troubling to a guy who has dreamed of starting a webcomic one day (and maybe making some money at it) but who also subscribes to a lot of the views of @FightTheNewDrug
I try to avoid following accounts like this one, mostly so I can keep my blood from boiling 24/7, but still gotta give a shout-out to @forexposure_txt: thank you for capturing the crap that artists trying to make a living put up with.
