Taking a break from my usual lacrosse degeneracy to rip some F1 slips  🏎️🏎️🏎️ Formula 1 heads to Monaco this weekend to start the European stint.  Here are my favorite long shot 🎯🎯 to sweat something during this typically boring race.  It’s no surprise this race is among the most boring on the calendar. Last year’s race saw only 4 competed overtakes, which is why you’ll often hear it referred to as a parade. Most of the excitement comes Saturday during qualis, but that doesn’t mean there are no angles to play.  — Couple long shots out the gate — Antonelli not to be classified ( 700)  Antonelli last classified driver ( 10000)  These are long shot looks but I like the dart throws for a few reasons. FIA closing a loophole in engine regulations should slide Mercedes closer to the pack a bit. Kimi is coming into Monaco on a 4 race win streak and some don’t expect that to stop anytime soon. However, Monaco is not a track Kimi has done well at being the last qualified finisher in last year’s race, and struggling on this circuit in his F2 days. The odds will be long with Kimi’s current form, but I’m choosing to fade the young driver while the lights are bright.  — Favorite team this weekend —  Ferrari double podium ( 145)  Ferrari most team points (TBD)  Mercedes will likely have the shortest odds here, with Ferrari coming 2nd or 3rd. Charles is the betting favorite for his home circuit. I like these plays with Lewis carrying momentum after his P2 in Canada and Charles showing out for the home fans. Like I previously mentioned, I’m low on Mercedes in this race for a few reasons, biggest of which is this track is much better suited for Ferrari. Ferrari’s struggles have mostly been on the long straights, which is definitely not an issue on this circuit. I expect Ferrari’s speed in the corners to give them a significant edge and I won’t be fading this duo.  No safety car ( 240) This is a tight street circuit that can easily take drivers out. While I think VSC is likely, with all of the safety emphasis this year, I’m rolling the 🎲🎲 on no safety car.  Esteban Ocon top 10 ( 250)  Ocon has shown well here in the past, making it through to Q3 last season and converting that to points. It seems he is getting a better handle on his car. With his current form and the lack of overtaking on this track, if he can advance to Q3 again this year I like his chances to stay in the points.  Love it, hate it, tail or fade, let me know 🥂 Will most likely be placing driver matchups morning of, but wanted to get these out before I’m back on the PLL grind for Friday
