Every argument for slowing AI down misses the more immediate problem.
Decades of human creativity were consumed to build these systems without a single license or payment to the people who made it.
No global treaty addresses that. Standardised data licensing infrastructure does, and it needs to become the foundation every AI company builds on.

House of David used 400 AI-generated images in Season 2. The result? One of Amazon's biggest hits.
This is exactly what Camp has been saying. AI and IP are not at war. A filmmaker using AI to realise a creative vision is not the problem. The problem is when the models powering those tools were trained on other people's work without consent or compensation.
The technology is ready, but the licensing infrastructure just has to catch up.
