Iran has delivered a clear message to Damascus: any attempt by Syria to interfere in Lebanon’s battlefield or open a military front against Hezbollah will be treated as a direct act of aggression.
The warning is directed at Syria’s leadership under Ahmed al-Sharaa, also known as Abu Mohammad al-Jolani.
According to the message, if Syrian forces move against Hezbollah or attempt to alter the balance of the war in Lebanon, Iran will respond decisively, and Syrian territory itself could become a target.
The signal from Tehran is clear: opening a front against Hezbollah will not remain confined to Lebanon. It will expand the war, and Syria will bear the consequences.
