My first ever autograph as a 8 year old! Remember leaving the Clubhouse at County Stadium on a game night & he was standing outside. I had gotten some Bazooka bubble gum & a ball and Pete signed it as I left. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate that night as much as I should've!
Pete Vuckovich was pitching with a torn rotator cuff. He was throwing in a lot of pain but the Brewers were in a pennant race. He got a cortisone shot, two days later, he threw 11 innings and 173 pitches and beat the Red Sox

People coming out of the woodwork to get on #WIAC baseball while they fail to advance to Super Regionals this year. While deserved, the WIAC has not only put a team in Super Regionals every year since 2022, they had put TWO teams in EVERY year! Some leagues still haven't done it!

Been around the game for quite some time, but can't say I've ever heard of hitters putting pine tar on their barrels, even George Brett.
That said, no surprise Coach Vodenlich got tossed based on who the umpire was. #WIAC
