I can’t remember a time before I loved the incredible Everly Brothers, their unbelievable voices in harmony and, in fact, this song in particular. Over the years, while touring with NASHVILLE IN CONCERT I would hear my @NashvilleABCTV brother @JonathanJackson crooning like an angel and think to myself how much I’d love to sing this with him. Eventually, finally, I asked. We tried it in a stairwell somewhere in some theater and it made me happier than I can describe. We took it to our great guitar guru and band leader @colinlinden , and after hearing his exquisite acoustic part, decided that that was all we needed. Since then, it has become a staple and a joy to perform whenever we tour. A while ago, Colin was kind enough to bring us into his beautiful studio so that we might record it all exactly as we perform it. And today, we’re releasing it!
There is, of course, no matching the ineffable perfection of the Everly Brothers iconic original. If, somehow, you are not familiar with it, I hope that ours sends you to theirs. In any event, we offer this up with love and respect, and were blessed to get to perform it together onstage at @peacecenter in Greenville, SC just last night.✨

What an incredible night it was! We started at @FirstHorizonPrk to Light The Night, and ended with a show at @eastsidebowl to Light the LATE Night!
