Did you know that the actor who played Grigg, the alien navigator of the Gunstar in #TheLastStarfighter, was also the same actor who played The Old Man (the CEO of Omni Consumer Products) in Robocop? youtu.be/yS2zlt80BSk

Did you know that Don Bluth really, really, really wanted Disney to make an adaptation of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of N.I.M.H, and when the Disney brass refused he left and took about 11 other animators with him? #TheSecretOfNIMH youtu.be/JAb7vxKm6H0

I got a chance to see a some movies and there's much to talk about, but, since these are SPOILER FREE reviews of #TheMandalorianAndGrogu and #IsGodIs, I've had to hold my tongue a bit. These films shouldn't be in the same episode . . . yet here we are! youtu.be/CwsE40JYyjI

Did you know: Johnston McCulley was partially inspired by real life bandito Joaquin Murrieta when he created Zorro? Find out more in the latest episode #TheMaskOfZorro youtu.be/cf70eHTLkwY

One of my favorite films is being profiled here: #StarTrekVITheUndiscoveredCountry. It's full of mystery, action, adventure, political intrigue and Kirk kisses himself (because of course he does). youtu.be/Qrn4LXVjKUY

Did you know that Columbia Pictures wanted someone else to direct #boyznthehood besides John Singleton? Was they trippin' or what? (To be fair - it was his first directing job ever) youtu.be/D3l8ln3x4BY

I finally finished #WonderMan. The easiest thing to say is that it was wonderful, but it was more than that. I've never been so frustrated with a protagonist as much as with Abdul-Mateen's Simon Williams, like, bro, relax and take the win! He was outstanding.

What do you get when you combine teen angst with the near unlimited power of the primordial universe . . . nothing good. Check out my commentary on the 1988 anime classic famously rejected by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas - #Akira youtu.be/PtsqmTtxVJA

One of my earliest forays into cinematic anime and my introduction to "Fan Service" was #VampireHunterD. He strolls into town, kills vamps with his ridiculously long sword, then leaves town. What's not to love? youtu.be/6HbW39vawMsyoutu.be…
