dubai is such a synthetic shithole lmao an authoritarian monarchy that gives away visas to any person who has like 50k and you get to be stuck in a dry lifeless desert pretending it is some high quality of life while the whole place is sustained by oil money and ruthless slavery
Dubai is more than a collection of skyscrapers and malls. It’s a place where people from all over the world have come to build new lives. on.wsj.com/40GfL49

this thing looks absolutely horrible
This is the yet-to-be released Rogue Air Rhino. It combines a belt squat machine with the fan flywheel you’d normally find on a rower. Essentially, it provides unlimited resistance that instantly matches the user’s power. AKA, it will be brutal to use.

Many of Jane Street’s more aggressive strategies operate in an ethically and legally grey zone because they are proponents of effective altruism. Money harvested from the financial markets through any means necessary is justified as long as it can be amassed by high cognition superentities (themselves) to do even more good later. When it starts to get dark is when competing EA-aligned entities each believe that only themselves winning is better for the world. There are going to be lots of unnecessary proxy wars in places like Africa because each side believes they are going to improve the world after their side kills the other.

Srs I think my CT feed is like 50% peptide posts these days. I would have nailed this trade if there was a way to express it.

UUPGs BTC price target is $0.0. That's not just for shock factor. It's where the math takes us. It's not worked as a dollar hedge, rather it's just a speculative instrument correlated to the Nasdaq. It's not gaining any traction as medium of exchange. No serious central bank will ever own something where Michael Saylor controls the float. The miners (who are the network) are bleeding cash. It's horribly inefficient as a transaction processor and wastes tremendous amounts of energy. Nothing "green" about this "coin". We think it's a zero.

Should we conduct an experiment on the effect of reta on day trader performance? By experiment I mean I pin myself (microdose) weekly for a few months and subjectively analyse results.

Someone asked my opinion (for God knows why) on why crypto sucks/is so stagnant right now. In my humble opinion, there has honestly been nothing exciting in the last 5 years in terms of innovation or anything actually cool coming out. The biggest narrative of the last year or so is DEX perps and on-chain TradFi markets, which while very cool, has absolutely only benefited stablecoins. On top of that, crypto lost its gambling crown to prediction markets and TradFi where, although shady stuff happens as well, in crypto 99.9% of onchain launches are straight rugs and even the large projects are VC fests that drift to zero after launch. This has been a theme for years and you can only farm naive people for so long. So why stick around? Well, because it sucks. Although crypto is still a young asset class, one thing which was proven in the past was that sticking around when it sucks tends to be a very profitable thing. Also, purely speculation-wise, crypto is still your best bet to actually make money. The scam pumps are a feature, not a bug, and there is still a lot of dumb flow to profit from. If you think crypto sucks now and you might have a better chance daytrading EURUSD or Nasdaq futures. You really don’t. Anyway, just my 2 cents. I think things might get worse before they get better, but there is really no reason to give up, especially on the trading side of things, as opportunities are still here every day.

Therapists target beliefs, coaches target discipline, 'recovery' programs target substances All of them miss. A man with perfect beliefs, iron discipline, and total sobriety will still destabilise if his environment returns no proof that his actions matter You cannot think your way into a stable identity. You need environments where effort produces observable consequence. self agency = being able to point at something and say: I did that - that exists because of me. Without validating feedback, the system keeps searching - the addictions keep rotating the cycle of anxiety ensues Modern life places men inside systems that discount ownership and conceal it behind anonymised layers Causality is intentionally blurred effort is required but consequence is redistributed across processes, teams, algorithms, and institutions. This creates a distortion men are expending energy without receiving confirmation that the energy mattered. If modern environment fails to resolve the question of whether your actions matter inertia will easily pick you up and absorb you into the machine now you are another member of the herd quietly, gradually sleepwalking your way into obsolescence. The way out is is deliberate placement inside environments where reality answers back. Where diffusal of responsbility does not exist and where effort leaves a mark. man needs mission. There exists only 1 solution: the dangerous voyage
