Introducing the new Clueso.
Today, we’re excited to share a fresh new look for Clueso — a new logo and brand identity that reflect just how far we’ve come, and where we’re headed next.
We designed the original Clueso logo in a few hours during our
@ycombinator batch, sitting in our tiny San Francisco apartment. At the time, we had no product, no customers, and barely even an idea.
Back then, Clueso was a small tool that helped users navigate digital products. The first videos were simple how-to tutorials. The idea of a detective helping people find their way just felt right. So we named it Clueso — inspired by Jacques Clouseau — and gave it a detective-style logo.
But Clueso has grown far beyond that. Today, teams across the enterprise — from customer education and product marketing to L&D, sales enablement, product management, customer success, IT, and engineering — use Clueso to create everything from feature launch videos and onboarding flows to product walkthroughs and internal training.
As our product and customer base evolved, our brand needed to evolve too.
While designing our new logo, we wanted to come up with something everlasting. So, rather than focusing on what’s changed, we reflected on what hasn’t.
While many things have evolved at Clueso, one thing has remained constant: Clueso takes a rough user input, and transforms it into something polished and beautiful.
From a clue, it creates a solution. Clueso.
Our new logo captures that spirit.
It’s shaped like a puzzle piece — a universal symbol for a clue — and forms an arrow pointing upward and to the right, showing forward movement. The clean lines represent transformation. And if you look closely, there’s a subtle nod to a play button — a reminder that Clueso is built for video.
We’ve also refreshed our typography and design language to reflect the premium, creative product Clueso has become.
This is a massive moment for us, and we're just getting started.
To everyone who’s been with us since the early days: thank you so much.
