Don’t let delays convince you to lower your expectations. God didn’t put that promise in you to tease you, to get your hopes up and then never let it happen. He put it there because He has every intention of bringing it to pass.

God gave you breath to breathe. He woke you up this morning. He told your heart to beat. He’s the One who sustained you. He’s protected you from things you know nothing about. It's important to have the right perspective.

Many of you have been faithful in the drought, doing the right thing when nothing is improving, thanking God when you don’t see any sign of it. You’re on the verge of acceleration. God is about to speed up what should have taken years.

God will never let you face a giant that you can’t overcome. He’ll never put a dream in your heart that you can’t accomplish. You may not have the size, the skill, the experience. That’s okay. With God, nothing is impossible.

The Scripture says, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter.” What God has in front of you is more fulfilling, more rewarding than anything you’ve seen in the past.

I use to think fasting was sort of a hunger strike….. it’s much deeper than that.

There are consequences for bad choices, but mistakes don’t have to cancel your destiny. God doesn’t write you off because you’re not where you’re supposed to be. He’s going to give you another chance to do what He’s called you to do.

The Scripture says, “God makes all things beautiful in its time.” Give God time to work it out. Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean God’s not working. He’s not going to bring you out the same; He’s going to bring you out better.

God's not looking at what people look at: the qualifications, the talent. He’s looking at your heart. He's looking at how faithful you are, how you keep Him first place, how you have a desire to help others, a dream to accomplish what seems over your head.

God is going to put dreams in your heart that seem impossible, obstacles will come that look too big, enemies too strong. The how is not up to you. The power of the Most High is going to work it out.

You are royalty. Now do your part and receive your worth. Don’t try to earn it. Don’t live performance based. Take the pressure off and just receive it. You are worthy. You are valuable. You are approved by Almighty God.

When God chose you, He didn’t say, “Good luck. You’re on your own. Let’s see what you can do.” No, He anointed you. The word anoint means, He marked you. He set you apart. How did He do it? By putting this blessing on you.

What you may not recognize is God is on that journey with you. All along the way, He’s sustaining you, protecting you, providing for you, ordering your steps. Recognize His goodness.

Quit being discouraged over what didn’t work out. It feels like you failed, but that’s not the end of your story. God led you into the desert because you’re in a time of testing. There’s something bigger God has in your future.

If it wasn’t for His goodness, His mercy, His strength, we wouldn’t be here. God is counting on us to let our light shine. What you’ve been through will help somebody else get through it. Be on the lookout for who you can encourage.
