SpaceX buying Cursor for $60B is wild. A few years ago, it was just a code editor. Today, companies are willing to spend tens of billions because AI is changing how software gets written. Whoever builds the best coding agents could have a huge advantage.

Google just released Open Knowledge Format (OKF), an open standard for organizing knowledge for both humans and AI agents. Think: • Markdown files YAML metadata • Git-friendly and portable • No vendor lock-in • Agents can actually navigate and update it Everyone is building agents, but context is still a mess. OKF is an attempt to fix that.

The most Indian thing ever: Complaining about the heat at 42°C, praying for rain, and then complaining again when it rains for two hours straight.

Indian IT is rushing to adopt AI agents while quietly cutting fresher hiring. The same tools we celebrate for improving efficiency are also shrinking entry level opportunities that used to be the main onboarding path for lakhs of engineers every year. We're getting more productive, but are we building the next generation of talent or just managing headcount better? Curious what others in the industry are seeing.

US AI policy in 2026: Build it. Open it. Secure it. Panic that China has it. Ban it for everyone. Nobody had this on their bingo card.

A small nation like Curaçao, with a population of just around 200,000, has played in the World Cup, while a country of 1.4 billion people like India hasn't played a single FIFA World Cup. Lack of talent isn't the problem. India has no shortage of gifted footballers. The real issue is years of poor administration, lack of grassroots investment, and corruption that prevents young talent from getting opportunities. At this rate, we may not see India on the World Cup stage for decades. It's genuinely frustrating and heartbreaking as a football fan. Indian football deserves better.

It’s high time India builds truly sovereign AI models that can compete with the US giants. We have Sarvam and a few others, but they’re still far behind. Without strong government backing policy support, serious funding, and real priority, this gap will never close. Cut down on the freebies and allocate meaningful budget to AI development. Otherwise, we’ll remain permanently dependent on foreign models.
🚨 US bans Claude Fable 5 and Mythos for foreigners, citing national security concerns. Anthropic said it will abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all users. 🙏 India needs its own AI models.

Google just sued a China-based cybercrime network for allegedly using Gemini to power phishing scams. The scale is insane: • 2.5M scam texts sent in 2 weeks • 9,000 fake websites • 1M fraudulent domains • 3.87M stolen credit cards linked to the ecosystem • Estimated losses: $1.9B The craziest part is that the service reportedly cost criminals just $88/week. We're getting to a point where even non-technical scammers can spin up convincing phishing operations with AI.
