Happy Kwanzaa to all those who celebrate. This is an African American & Pan-African holiday, observed from 26 December to 1 January as a celebration of their cultural heritage and traditional values.

Ethan Tailor, 16
Ethan has Stargardt’s disease, a retinal condition causing progressive central vision loss which was diagnosed when he was 7. He is an avid and talented cook, an active child- having recently completed the D of E Bronze, likes the gym, swimming and martial arts.
He went to San Diego where he was asked to open a conference, delivering a talk about accessibility and his condition. He also went skiing with his school earlier this year and climbed mount Vesuvius in Italy.
Ethan has been in the media such as the national papers, on the news and TV documentary- each time demonstrating his can-do and positive attitude. In his own words, “The limit is what you choose
