Hey Bappers, I’m the founder of Bappfun.
We aren't big influencers. We don’t have major VCs behind us, nor wellknown founders backing the project. We are an independent team that has been building in the Web3 ecosystem for around three years, experimenting with mini apps and dapps on the Base network.
Throughout this journey, we observed one thing very clearly: indie developers, small teams, and less known builders struggle significantly to find funding and scale their projects. Gaining visibility often requires joining cabals or passing through centralized approval mechanisms. That’s why we built a launchpad fully focused on supporting indie developers.
As the process moved forward, strong expectations naturally formed within the community. But our stance has been clear from day one: we are building something independent, community driven, and true to the degen spirit.
This project does not rely on a single individual. We have a developer team working across different domains, a separate marketing team, and dedicated community managers. As the project grows, the team expands organically. This is not just an idea or a promise. Our dapp is live, the infrastructure is ready, and tomorrow we are making our first official announcement. At the same time, we are in ongoing discussions with projects launching through us, and you will soon see the first approved project on our dapp.
Today, AI assisted development is not a privilege, it’s a standard. Regardless of scale, modern products are built this way. We view this approach as a natural part of the projects launching on our platform. During the process, a minor mistake was made by a team member. We noticed it and fixed it. Transparency is a core principle for us.
We understand and respect the need to research carefully and remain cautious before investing.
But we are not selling inflated narratives with hundreds of millions in FDV that exist only on paper. The ecosystem already has more than enough of those.
If you want to support the spirit of crypto’s early days, independent developers and teams that build without asking for permission, you’re welcome to take a look at our launch schedule.
