During the trust's Covid-19 response our Children's/young people's Emergency Department will be diverting patients to alternative departments from mid day on Tuesday 14th.

The department will reopen after our Covid-19 response has been de-escalated.

From midday on Tues 14 April our children & young people’s emergency department at #Barnet Hospital will be diverted. From then anyone under 18 needing care for an accident/emergency should go to @NorthMidNHS or @WestHertsNHS (Watford General).

I dislike the term 'frontline' as it unintentionally infers there's a 'backline' that doesn't matter as much.
When the media uses the shorthand 'doctors and nurses', let's remember it takes a village - incl our primary, community and social care colleagues who are so crucial too

The long suffering Mrs L has been a poorly girl recently, I can’t thank the hard working @BarnetED for all their help and care today looking after her - totally amazing. Thank you to all our #NHSheroes .
