There are few dumber things in sport than Americans not understanding why the offside rule is essential in football.
There are few dumber things in sports than offsides in soccer Get back on D, son (Seriously, imagine if a receiver couldn't run past a DB in football on a deep ball, or you couldn't get out on a fast break in hoops)

Scottish culture seems to be tweeting about England constantly. 🤨
Scotland's culture is tartan and bagpipes. English culture is wasting pints and flinging patio furniture about.

RT @Britpopmemories: My 14 year old son is teaching himself to play guitar by using tutorials on YouTube. Can the @DCMS explain to him how…

That’s unfortunate because British chefs Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, Gordon Ramsey, Delia Smith and Mary Berry are the top 5 in global sales for cookery books and British chefs have a huge global reach on TV too.
No one on this planet should ever take advice from a British person when it comes to cooking 😂

Please everyone stop using this generic AI bullshit. I know it’s a cheap win and I totally understand that something being created so quickly works for people. But it’s totally crap, please try and be more creative. Reach out to local graphic designers etc, try harder.

Not a bad start for Ollie Robinson on his return to Test cricket. 🏏

Such sad news. I was fortunate enough to photograph John and spend a few hours with him. He was a genuinely lovely bloke. Rugby League has lost a true character and ambassador for the game. My thoughts are with his family.
The RFL today pays tribute to John Kear, who died suddenly on Sunday afternoon returning north from Wembley, having been part of the BBC’s commentary team for the Challenge Cup Finals Our thoughts and condolences are with John’s wife Dawn, his family and friends

Really disappointing to see so many empty seats at Wembley for the Challenge Cup Final. It used to be an event where thousands of neutrals would go booking tickets long before the finalists were known. Sadly no longer it seems. #RugbyLeague

How the hell have I lived over fifty years on this earth and not been aware of the existence of tonsil stones until now?

This is why you should buy your meat from your local butchers, not a supermarket.
Come on @Tesco!!! You buy a steak for £11 for a special occasion, looks lovely until you turn it over and realise half of it is fat and sinew. No time to return it so have to pretty much cut it in half to make it edible. Finest my ass!! Do better and stop tricking customers!!

I see that Spotify has a new disco ball icon to celebrate Spotify's 20th anniversary. All I can say is that it’s fugly, it messes up my home screen and I’m glad it’s only temporary.

Fascinating showbiz history nugget here: Brucie says the gold bar is worth £30,000 and compares it to "a week at Batley" - a reference to the Batley Variety Club, the Vegas of the North, famous for chicken-in-a-basket and generous fees. (£27,000 a week for Louis Armstrong.)
Happy Monday Folks! Here’s a great little clip of #EricAndErnie on the much loved #GenerationGame with #BruceForsyth and his then wife #AntheaRedfern #StillBringingSunshine 👓☀️❤️ #MorecambeAndWise #AreYouAnthea #CuddlyToy #SoMuchBetterThanLastWeek

On this day 41 years ago, 54 Bradford City supporters and two Lincoln City supporters went to a football match and never returned home. We will never forget those who sadly lost their lives, and as always, our thoughts are with their families and the hundreds still affected by the disaster to this day. Always in our hearts. 🎗️ #BCAFC
