The narrative of London & the UKs demise is completely overstated. You can still get a train at 1 am, the streets are clean & more importantly safe at 2 am. There’s building going on everywhere & @TfL run a better show than most. The views aren’t bad either.

A most interesting place for business. It’s a bit like having the Supreme Court, the Central Bank & Dáil Éireann all in Sligo. Stunningly beautiful scenery, very friendly people & v good food. Not what I expected at all.

I have no connection or affinity towards @tcddublin but I had the great pleasure briefly meeting @LindaDoyle earlier this week. There are few people you’ll get a warmer or more genuine welcome from. What a wonderfully unaffected Ambassador for her Institution.

OK it’s been a long work day. You realise that you have meat that is about to go off. However you decide to crank up the barbecue at 9:30 pm in Ireland in October. You freeze your a** while doing it. Should be good karma but NO - the gas runs OUT after 30 secs. Goodbye Wednesday

I’ve spent the weekend very deliberately eating & shopping as local as I possibly can.Even in a relatively affluent part of Dublin, things are bad on the High Street,we are losing independent retailers who managed through a recession & then Covid. Support them when you can folks

Karma - This AM myself & a buddy were queuing in local coffee shop. A self important twat was outrageously rude to lovely staff. We challenged him.He & his branded notebook were equally rude to us. In about 16 mins hes about to discover my buddy is his new MD.Manners cost nothing

House prices now back at #CelticTiger levels. Some small ticket/low value household items now available on credit but at 34.9% APR & cost of living rocketing. Be careful out there guys. We’ve been on this train ride before, the last journey took 11 years, #perfectstorm
